Rhett Walker Band Grammy Block Party

Excerpts from an article by Chris Cannon:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – For the 15th year The Recording Academy put a spotlight on all the musical talent that comes straight from Nashville.

The Grammy block party closed off part of Music Row at Owen Bradley Park and featured seven musical acts. Nearly a thousand Academy members and their guests attended the party.

For singer Rhett Walker, the performing at the 2013 concert was a big switch from a year ago when he was in the audience.

“(I was) just trying to mingle my way into a good conversation, and meet new people, and this year we get to play it. And after getting nominated for a Grammy. It’s been a fast year and a long year. We’re stoked to be here tonight,” Walker explained.
