Rhett Walker Band Performers/Nominees at 44th Annual GMA Dove Awards

The Rhett Walker Band has been added to the performing lineup for this years 44th Annual Dove Awards.

A Dove Award is an accolade by the Gospel Music Association (GMA) of the United States to recognize outstanding achievement in the Christian music industry.

In addition to performing, the band has been nominated for awards in three categories:

1. Category 7 – NEW Artist of the Year.
2. Category 11 – Rock Contemporary SONG for “When Mercy Found Me” (writers) Rhett Walker, Jeff Pardo.
3. Category 22 – RockContemp ALBUM for their CD “Come To The River” (producer) Paul Moak.

The awards show will take place on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Allen Arena on the campus of Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee at 7:30pm CT and will be broadcast exclusively on UP on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. EDT.
